West Gabal El Dehies Concession in Wadi Al Allaqi in the Eastern Desert of the Republic of Egypt

Golden Goliath has entered into a Partnership Agreement with NexGold International Mining Company, an Egyptian registered operating entity, to explore and develop the West Gabal El Dehies Production Concession in Wadi Al Allaqi in the Eastern Desert, in the Republic of Egypt.

The Concession is a Production Contract with the Egyptian Government via Shalateen Mineral Resources Company https://smrc.com.eg/ (a government company) and locally owned and registered Misr Mining Company which has partnered with NexGold International Mining Company to develop and further explore the Concession. Artisanal gold production has been underway until recently and a detailed exploration campaign is currently underway. The partners in the concession aim to invest in expanding production while continuing the current exploration program.

The Joint Venture in the West Gabal El Dehies Concession is comprised of:

Shalateen Mineral Resources Company (Govt) = 50.5%
Golden Goliath Resources Limited = 29.5%
NexGold International Mining Company = 10%
Misr Mining Company = 10%

NexGold International Mining Company will operate the concession on behalf of Golden Goliath and Misr Mining. The Golden Goliath and NexGold Partnership will be responsible pro rata for all operating and capital costs.

The West Gabal El Dehies Concession is 15.45 square kilometres located 190 kilometres by road from Aswan (Figure 1).  There has been a long history of artisanal mining in this area dating back to the times of the Pharaohs.  Geological mapping has been completed over the West Gabal El Dehies Concession using remote sensed data pus extensive ground truthing and surface mapping.  The gold in the Concession is primarily orogenic gold hosted in quartz veins and associated alteration zones.  During 2025 there was artisanal mining being conducted on the Concession, the Partnership intends to review the artisanal mining operation to determine how best to expand operations and conduct further exploration within the Concession.

Figure 2. West Gabal El Dehies detailed Geological Map

A program of detailed geological mapping has been completed within the block (Figure 2). The Concession sits within the Al Allaqi valley, geologically a part of the Arabian-Nubian Shield which provides one of the largest and best-recorded outcrops of Neoproterozoic juvenile crust on Earth (950–450Ma years old). The origin of the Arabian-Nubian Shield which associated with subduction in the Nubian Shield, and the shear propagation, and the metamorphism of the rocks to amphibolite grade associated with the late Neoproterozoic orogeny represent suitable geological environments and features that are highly favourable for gold deposits, and make it one of the most important gold provinces on the Earth.

There are extensive deposits of tailings in the block from historical mining operations (Figure 3). NexGold plan to commence processing the tailings and other wadi deposits (alluvial gold deposits) in mid-2026 to provide early gold production. In parallel an extensive program of geological mapping, rock sampling, geophysics and diamond core drilling has commenced. The objective of this program is to delineate the extent and resource potential of the remaining gold deposits within the block. This will facilitate a decision on the best way forward to continue and expand gold mining operations.
